Monday is a reliable, fully customizable software with tons of features. As a Brazilian, my only problem with it is the price tag.
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
Monday.com helps us organize our demands, both on the daily basis and our long-term projects, as well as scheduling deadlines, sending and receiving briefings and files, and assigning the right people for each job. The platform also serves as a way to "see the whole picture" of the company, as we don't always have the means to be in contact with everybody, and it helps us not be overwhelmed with unfiltered or conflicting information.
- The software has a responsive, clean, and friendly UI, and allows for extreme customization.
- It serves as an intranet of sorts, even acting as a social media where we can comment, like posts, and tag other members of the team.
- It has a lot of ways of visualizing information, organizing it by project, deadlines, members, periods of time, and other parameters.
- Some of the automatization features could be turned on by default, where I would change some information on a board and it cascades to other places. Currently they are a bit tucked away.
- Besides having a good UI, some of the elements are a bit overwhelming at first, as the software has a lot of functionalities that require getting used to.
- It streamlined our briefings by allowing us to share boards with our clients.
- It decreased our need for some meetings that can now be administered on the website, saving us a lot of time.
- It decreased stress within the company by letting the managers see the designers' pipeline at all times, allowing them to not overburden anyone.
Overall, the software is very light and reliable. I've never had any problem with response time, even on lower-end machines. I also have no memory of a feature ever "breaking" or causing any problem. The only thing I can remember is one time when the site would load forever and wouldn't open, but half an hour later it returned.
