Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We use monday.com to:
efficient system for this process, previously San Antonio was using a white
board for information and the techs would have to contact the supervisor to get
the information. We previously used Google Docs, and Waco uses excel or google
sheets for the most part. monday.com is very user-friendly and has been a great
asset to our shop, the San Antonio store previously had a board but it was
extremely unorganized and out of date so I created a new board for them and we
are in the process of teaching their techs how to properly utilize it
considering we have seen it is a very beneficial resource.
- Ensure the technicians
and administrators are on the same page about the status of a machine /
work order – by using the updates function and having a status column - Offer the machine
information (work order, serial number, customer contact, type of repair,
assigned tech, etc.) this is very beneficial so technicians are not
confused or asking for any information, it is instead organized in one
place that they can consistently refer to - Communicate with
technicians about needed information (mileage to and from machine, notes
on work done, and ensure labor is entered correctly)
As a coordinator I use
it to remain in contact with the tech about status so I am aware when
repairs are complete to coordinate payment / transportation of said
machine
I also use it to keep an
eye on when I last sent an invoice to a customer so I can check in with
them again about payment - Automations, moving from
one group to another or one board to another- our board has an automation
to move to our Yard Shack’s board when it is marked as “Pre-Shipper” so
they aren’t blindsided by customer pick up,
Also still having access
to old work order data but having it minimized is very convenient.
