Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sharepoint is currently being used across our entire organization for an internal Intranet. We use sharepoint extensively. It helps our business to stay organized and streamlines projects.

Pros and Cons

Enables teams to collaborate more closely
Great for organizing shared files and folders
Creating team sites with specific documents and information for the particular team

Better UI improvements
More wizard driven so end users have have less of a learning curve
Better API support for 3rd party software vendors

Return on Investment

The RIO of sharepoint is great since it's included in our O365 plan
Sharepoint has streamlines our team and department operations
Sharepoint is great at project tracking

Alternatives Considered

The support with box is not as good as it is with sharepoint. Also sharepoint has better support for 3rd part software API integration

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for team folders and organizing files. Creating team and department sites for collaboration.
Sharepoint is not meant to be a front facing website. It's great at a internal company site.
