Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

We use NetSuite for all aspects of the business including heavy customization for designed for unique manufacturing processes. NetSuite drives out Ensite enterprise from order to cash we use it for everything. We choose NetSuite to replace out in-house built software suite which has been developed over the course of 15 years but had challenges when it came to communication between the software.

NetSuite was the obvious choice in our case because of the enterprise backing of Oracle and the support available for the platform from both the Oracle side as well as on the open market through Consultants and Partner firms. While it's price point is vastly different, considering ERPNext has a completely free community offering, and Odoo's very entry-level price point... it was a clear choice for us due to our need for a tried and true solution.

NetSuite is highly configurable and allows for almost endless customization. The end-user experience is completely open to manipulation through Forms and WorkFlows, as well as the ability to use scripting to automate and configure on-the-fly options and records.
Our experience started rocky but once we got an account executive who paid attention to our needs, we have had smooth experiences, and the yearly review with a solution architect is something I highly recommend everyone take advantage of.
NetSuite is well suited to taking over most small business accounting software when your company outgrows them. It has vast expandability through various modules and through SuiteApps available on the marketplace and through in-house and outsourced customization. I feel it's less appropriate for very small businesses looking to break into the ERP market but have limited need for all that NetSuite is or can offer. Its price point outweighs the benefit in that scenario.
