Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP
We have 12 subsidiaries, which we utilize for most accounting functions and as our primary records for financial reporting. We also use it for day-to-day transactions, revenue recognition on our construction contracts, and for tracking time, among other purposes.
Pros
- Financial reporting.
- Customization
- User interface.
Cons
- Everything takes so much longer than you think it would need to.
- Lots of menu's, can be hard to find things.
- Search can be frustrating if you misspell something or don't type it exactly right.
- Clear insights to management.
- Clear financial reporting.
QuickBooks Online is, by far, a better and easier-to-use product for smaller companies. Only switch to Netsuite if you have to. We switched to NetSuite because we have numerous subsidiaries, and QuickBooks would not be able to handle the complexity.
