Overall Satisfaction with Newswire
We use Newswire very strategically as we only have a few meaningful times where we need to get big important updates out to the world. We are very happy that when we need to get something on the wire, Newswire does a great job of getting the message out far and wide. We end up with hundreds of pickups and impressions in the high millions. The process of generating the content is pretty helpful, too, and ensuring we hit our target audience is important.
Pros
- Media monitoring and analytics.
- Content generation.
- Getting the message out to a wide targeted audience.
- General support is amazing too.
Cons
- This is an industry-wide issue, but impressions can be hard to use as a metric.
- Copywriting is hard, so I don't expect miracles, but this is always a great place to invest.
- Improved click rates.
- Brand awareness.
- Linkbacks to our site and improved SEO.
- Social proof - we work with large brands and have a trusted national presence.
- Millions of impressions doesn't necessarily mean clicks but it does look good.
They all seem the same to me, just with varying interfaces and pricing. I went with Newswire just because I've used them in the past and have had a good experience. I am sure Cision is also good as it's an industry leader. The markets are a little varied, too, but I have not explored that much.
