Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne

We use NinjaOne daily to keep track of inventory of the hardware and software we have deployed. We push updates to all desktops to keep them up to date with all software, not just Microsoft updates. Once of the best features we use is the remote control part where you can take over a users desktop to either help them with an issue or just remotely work on the PC when the user is not there.

Pros

  • Remote control of user desktops is top notch. We used to use Teams share but that has limits like when a popup is giving for admin rights. With Teams you do not see that screen and therefore can't login, whereas NinjaOne allows full control and you see any/all popup messages.
  • Pushing updates for non-Windows updates is a game saver. Most everything we use is already setup in Ninja and you just have to select a box to say to keep them up to date on the desktops.
  • Software inventory is nice to do checks on what is installed on PC's and to uninstall software that you no longer use or support.

Cons

  • Android MDM is not there at all currently. We needed a way to lock down users so they could not access email unless they use the MDM and there is no option to do this lockdown currently like Microsoft Intune does out of the box.
It is one of the easiest to learn and use. Our team got up and running in just a few days from remotely installing the agent on all PC's thru GPO to learning the interface and remote control features.
  • NinjaOne allows a small team of 3 users support over 400 desktops and keep them up to date and working at peak performance.
Out team of 3 can support over 400 desktops and keep them up to date and manage day to day issues with no problem. Automations and reports can help answer almost any question you have.
By keeping all the 3rd party software that our different departments use helps patch and maintain our security standards and not allowing out of date software to be used in our environment.
Providing lists for what PC's need upgrades, what software is being used that we might not have been aware of, keeping track of what assets that need attention because of disk space or cpu usage is great.
