Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne

When Furniture Mart purchased the company I used to work for, this was the one program I pushed hard to bring along and integrate into their systems. It allows all of our techs and admins to help our users maintain their systems across all 5 states. We also have gotten alot of use out of the scripting and ability to push updates at times that don't affect our users or customers. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a product to ease their IT workloads.

Pros

  • remote access
  • installing and updating apps
  • allowing helpdesk to check system stats without logging into computer
  • allowing helpdesk to see which services are running

Cons

  • MDM is still pretty basic
  • mobile app notifications for scripts and alerts
Easy to use, documentation seems clear, and love the DOJO where users and support can upload examples of scripts and things they have gotten to work. This comes in really handy when trying something new to give us a baseline to start at.
  • faster response times
  • proactive instead of reactive updates
  • less stress on users and guests.
This has allowed us to manage all of our devices across our network with far fewer techs. Even with them spread out across 5 states, we can get the job done quickly and accurately. It also allows our remote techs to do their job from wherever they may be working from.
We use it for auditing the endpoints and servers to make sure they are up to day with patches and OS levels. We can also ensure that the programs used are all accepted by our IT staff.
We currently use it for patch management but are always looking at the features to see what we want to do next and what NinjaOne can provide.

Cisco Meraki Z3 Teleworker (discontinued), Cisco Meraki MX
Being able to push updates to machines outside of normal hours which allows customers to not be inconvenienced. We also use it alot for our helpdesk to be able to see services, specs, and running software on a user's computer when they call in for help. We love that we can find a user logged into a computer without them knowing which computer they are on.
