NinjaOne has been a great decision for us
Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We currently use NinjaOne to manage 2000+ endpoints across hundreds of customers. It handles our remote access to the devices, OS patching, software patching, and management automation. I have used multiple other RMM solutions in the past, but NinjaOne has been the easiest to get up and going at a pretty advanced level. It does everything we need and does it quickly.
Pros
- Remote Access
- Automation/Scripting
- OS Patching
Cons
- Antivirus integration
- Autoremoval of machines that have been disconnected for extended periods
- Better handling/alerting for failed automations
- Has allowed us to increase the number of devices/clients we service without an equal increase in headcount
- Has been a key component in our push to standardized deployments across customers
- Compared to our previous RMM solution it does more for a lower cost
The information we get from the NinjaOne dashboard for individual devices allows us to do a great deal of data collecting and troubleshooting before we ever need to connect with a device. Coupled with backstage access, this allows us to correct many issues without ever interrupting a user's workday. Additionally, the automation triggers can handle many issues without any technician intervention at all.
The biggest improvement NinjaOne has offered over our previous RMM solutions, is better activity logging. It gives us detailed information on which user is doing what, from where. It also has greatly improved how easy it is for us to deploy our full stack of security software.
Machine onboarding has been the biggest gain for us. Taking a device from a stock Windows setup to fully setup with our stack of software has dropped, in some cases by hours.
Both of the prior solutions we have used were incredibly slow and clunky compared to NinjaOne. The learning curve on both were also dramatically higher. Things that took us years to get working, or were not able to get working at all, took weeks/months with NinjaOne. It has been a much more enjoyable experience.
