Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We use NinjaOne mainly for patch management and remote access of systems. Clearly seeing all machines needing updates and launching these from the interface cuts down on the length of time to deploy patches. Also being able to see key metrics from systems helps us diagnose problems. Being able to remotely control the machines from the same interface is a bonus.
Pros
- Machine information gathering
- Patch Management
- Remote Access
Cons
- Interface to deploy patches could be better.
- Integration into more antivirus solutions.
- Time savings to key staff.
- Faster deployment of patches allow us to be more compliant.
- Quick access of machines allow users to get back working faster.
NinjaOne has had a positive impact on allowing our Team to support end users. Reducing manual tasks and providing key information quickly allows the IT team to focus on other projects.
We are able to monitor any devices which aren't compliant with key policies like Bitlocker being active on a device and Security software being installed and up to date. Knowing which devices are missing updates allows us to diagnose these machines quicker and bring them back into compliance.
Scanning of machines for software and windows patches are scheduled, along with installing of approved patches has significantly cut down having to run installs on all machines separately.
- Lansweeper, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Intune, PDQ Deploy & Inventory, RealVNC Connect and ConnectWise Automate
NinjaOne has the most rounded set of features however I believe all of the programs have there own plus and minus points. We use a mixture of programs however NinjaOne is the most heavily used.
