Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Nintex to automate business processes such as approvals and notifications related to business deadlines (e.g. contract expiration, Onboarding needs, etc).

Very intuitive
Strong user support and knowledge base
Constantly updated and adding new features and extensions

Improve the preview functionality, not all features work in preview
Improve knowledge base around JS and CSS integration
Add connectors to other systems into SP2016 not just Cloud solution

Return on Investment

The reduction in manhours is significant through automation of daily tasks
Adherence to procedures reduces mistakes and improper data
Notifications prevent missed deadlines

Alternatives Considered

Nintex is significantly more intuitive and easier to learn. Has a learning curve of weeks, not months. Feature set is slightly less robust, but significantly cheaper than K2
