Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Notion as our internal employee wiki and information database. Notion houses all of our internal policies and information about our programs. It's typically where we send employees to find more information when they come to the HR team with specific questions. Specific teams also use Notion for team specific purposes too for internal use.

Usability

Notion has been a great asset for us when it comes to documentation and information sharing. It's intuitive for users and it's easy for individuals to create pages within our workspace. It's been adopted across the organization and several teams are using it for their own specific purposes too. It has been fantastic at ensuring our teams have the information that they need when they need it.

Well suited for housing organizational information that is relevant to all team members and specific teams. Easy to use and intuitive for users. Good for information that doesn't need to be constantly updated - not working documents, which is why we tend to use it for completed policies.

Less appropriate for documents that require collaboration and continuous edits. You can't easily see historical changes.
