OneCause at Gala event
Overall Satisfaction with OneCause
We use OneCause for our Silent and Live Auctions during our Annual Gala. This year was our first using the system and although we had some minor issues the day of the event, the system itself is very user-friendly and does the job right. We like the fact that our attendees can process their auctions and do everything from one place. It saves us the paperwork from before.
Pros
- Landing Page
- Check out flexibility
- Uploading information
Cons
- Uploading in bulk and adding bidding numbers and seating arrangement in the bulk upload
- better support staff at the event
- easier trainings
- Increased time by manually adding each attendee (over 500) a table number. It would be easier to do it in Bulk like in event farm.
- We raised more funds so that was great and we look forward to better utilizing the system next time.
- More Ipads or an electronic system for us to better do registration and add people to their seats.
We like Event Farms bulk upload (excel) capabilities. Member clicks registration format is superior. OneCause is better than Accrisoft.

Evaluating OneCause and Competitors
- Ease of Use
We may look at other options that are most cost effective,
OneCause Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- getting the team trained
- having access to help that was not an article or a bot after the initial phase
OneCause Support
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
Knowledgeable team Support understands my problem | Poor followup Escalation required Difficult to get immediate help Slow Initial Response |
No, we already bought a system ayt a high cost, we should not need to pay for the support of a system that we already paid for. It seems like a money grab which is one of the reasons we are looking to switch
We were having issues assginning tables by individual and they helped us that same day and answered our questions. It has been the only tgime we haven't had to wait for than 3 days for a solution
