Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

We use PandaDoc for all the contracts in our company. The software is used by a handful of users to deliver contracts to our prospective clients. We specifically purchased PandaDoc because of the built-in ability to edit documents as they are being created, based on existing templates. This was a key feature that we needed when looking for a new software, and PandaDoc has not disappointed. We are also able to integrate with Salesforce and to create zaps in Zapier with PandaDoc, which allows us to implement automatic workflows to cut back on manual entry.
  • Ability to edit contracts at any time, based on templates (without having to use an outside program like Word).
  • Easy to use template builder, which has gotten some more robust features over the last year.
  • Easy to implement, with good onboarding support.
  • Difficult to change signers (requires a few extra clicks).
  • New template builder is nice, but some of the buttons have moved and become more difficult to get to (again, requires more clicks).
  • Unable to mass update template styles, which means each individual template needs to be updated manually.
  • Greater employee efficiency.
  • Good customer experience.
PandaDoc has pretty much everything I'd want. The hardest and most time-consuming part is setting up the template itself, but once that's done, documents are quick and easy to create using templates. You can add/remove language on the fly, and pull in blocks through the content library in a snap. The ability to send the document for signature or via a link has been particularly helpful in getting contracts to our customers in an easy to sign fashion.
We don't really use these features, other than the email notifications that give status updates when a party has signed a document, which is a standard function and definitely necessary.
Documents created in PandaDoc look great. It's as nice as anything I could create manually in word and honestly, could probably be nicer except that I'm not a designer. The features and functions available in the template builder are robust and great though.

  • Additional sales quotes (which we didn't foresee ever using when we first signed up with PandaDoc).
PandaDoc works really well for our particular use case. All contracts are sent by just a few people in the company, and we can easily update contracts as needed without having to have a million fields to fill out, as many other programs I looked at would have us do. We can customize most pieces of PandaDoc to work well with our unusual pricing structure, and overall, we are really satisfied with this software.
