Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server

The greater visibility in reporting gives Parallels a huge advantage over standard RDP solutions. The backend interface loads quickly and starting/stopping logons to a server takes seconds not minutes. The Parallels application is easy to install and store user details securely. We encountered a lot fewer issues from users with firewall issues locally preventing them from connecting.
The reason we chose parallels was the ability to simplify the delivery of virtual desktops and physical hardware across the organization. We also hope soon to be able to expand our systems into a scalable cloud-based VDI environment to cover us for major DR events. Again this will not be visible to the user where they are logging in from. The idea is to be as seamless and flexible as possible and parallels allow this.
Through our integration with Duo, our parallels environment is protected by two-factor authentication an absolute must in the modern era. We use this with either passcode or push to authenticate every user that logs onto our parallels environment.
