Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom is our employee management system and payroll provider. We use it to handle all of our employment taxes and benefits enrollment & administration. In conjunction with hiring platforms, it's our primary HR resource.

Paycom has undergone many upgrades and changes over the years which has improved it's functionality. Integrating it into my daily work has been a huge benefit for me. I am comfortable navigating the employee data, setting filters to see specific employees, and finding what I need at a glance. The time off functionality was integrated to allow us to see time off availability on the manager and employee side easily as well.

Paycom is a great tool that provides all the necessary functionality to manage employees, administer payroll and benefits, and handle all necessary taxes. We're currently working on open enrollment, and I'm a one-person show. I'm glad to be able to roll over last years' benefit plans and allow employees to continue their elections year to year. Payroll is also a breeze with simple grid layouts and clear deduction assignments.

There are other areas where I do not believe Paycom is well-suited, such as for larger organizations with hundreds of employees. The options to classify employees are robust, but sometimes clunky to use. It's unclear where some classifications will be shown and the number of options can be overwhelming without clear mapping.
