Paycom Review
Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
For compensation management. For payroll, definitely for performance reviews, because moving into a quarterly review cycle, so that piece has been a little challenge right now because of how we have leaders report. So I'm meeting with my rep to try and get those pieces iron out. That's one of the most challenging with the performance.
Pros
- I would say the communication post-implementation is amazing. Allie is our representative. She's amazing. Caitlin is amazing. I just met Travis last week at the office. Amazing. The communication is great and helpful, so if one of the team members don't have the answer, they can just jump in. For instance, I was on a call with Caitlin yesterday and she was like, "I'm not really sure about this answer. Let me see if I can go run it byTravis." I know he's on another call and instead of him saying blah, blah, he came over and looked at the screen and was like, do this, do this. It's a little different. So I would say the customer service is the best.
Cons
- I would say in the implementation phase, if it's not in-person, because it can feel a little rushed and less thorough. I can only speak from my experience with my implementation person.
- I would think the most time would come from applicant tracking and I don't think that's a Paycom issue necessarily. I think it was a training issue during implementation. I would say that that has improved now that we had onsite training. But initially the applicant tracking piece can be difficult when you're used to just using an ATS. That's specifically for talent acquisition because there's a lot of nuances that goes into the system that Paycom bills.
I think because it doesn't have the API integrations, that's the most difficult because now we're still having to do certain things out of the system when it comes to our learning management system because you guys now have a proprietary system where the data won't feed from our LMS to Paycom, where we have industry specific trainings that our clinical staff will have to have.
I wouldn't say it has affected our workflows. It has more so improved the workflows. So as long as our workflows are built correctly, it's a seamless process.
