Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

Paycor is used throughout the company. It is used to rectify payroll and distribute employees wages.
  • The system is easy to navigate.
  • Deductions, such as garnishments and child support are simple and streamlined.
  • Online reporting is fast and easy to use.
  • Techincal issues are few and far between. If one does occur, it is resolved quickly.
  • Customer service is not tailored to individual needs. There is no dedicated customer service rep. You are given an option to take the first available rep., however, this person may or may not be suited or trained in the issue you are having.
  • Custom reports need to be VERY specific and require many filters to get the information that is needed. There is a chance of inaccurate data due to these filters.
  • ACA reporting provides inaccurate data, often changing on a cut off date and eliminating or adding employees to receive coverage.
  • Emails are not quickly responded to.
  • Neutral - It is hard to tell without having all the capabilities of the system
Our HR and/or payroll team has not had any measurable time savings.
There is no dedicated rep. that is assigned to the company. Paycor support does not have dedicated lines for functions, so you get someone on the "team" but that person may not be the best to answer or help. It takes too much time to get answers to questions in this manner. Emails either go unanswered or responded to. When following up on an issue, it is often that I talk to someone different than I originally spoke with, when leads to more time lost.
Paycor is simple to use for payroll processing. There is a definite learning curve when trying to run customized reports.
It is hard to evaluate Paycor in this manner, as I had full access to the other products but do not have full access to everything Paycor offers. I was not personally responsible for the original evaluation, so I do not know what criteria was used to choose one system over the other.
I get the impression that Paycor would be a better system if you have the entire system. Using Paycor for payroll is fine, but there is more that it can be used for, however, the system is a-la-carte.
