Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

Paycor is the HR, timekeeping hiring and payroll system, benefits management and tax services used by our company. This program started out being very useful to track employees, manage certifications and required clearances, allows mobile timekeeping, and manage benefits enrollment and tracking, and process all payroll and payroll taxes. In the beginning, 4 years ago, it met all of our needs. Now...it's almost out the door if things don't improve drastically with Paycor's company infrastructure and responsiveness.
  • Well rounded package of options to support the entire company
  • Reoccuring "glitches" that no one bothers to explain to determine if there is something that needs to be done differently on our end.
  • Complete lack of response to emails and telephone calls
  • No dedicated person to reach out to for support or questions
  • Feels like the company is on it's last leg and no one is in charge of the ship there.
  • Have not seen an improvement on efficiency, struggle to get things updated
  • Problems not fixed in a timely manner and causes delays and other problems
  • No support from the company
Our HR and/or payroll team is spending more time than we did previously due to Paycor. - Might see a time savings if there was a better support infrastructure at Paycor. Waste A LOT of time waiting for responses or never getting a response but needing to work around the problem.
The program is not difficult to use, if you have a basic knowledge of navigating software, when it is working correctly. If you have a problem, there is no support to figure it out.
  • UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready)
Kronos allowed more insight into the back end of the program to allow for better response to questions of how to do something. There support structure was excellent. I had a team of people I could reach out to with questions or problems. Paycor doesn't seem to have a single employee on staff based on the lack of response to emails or telephone calls. I waited on hold for 45 minutes yesterday before finally hanging up on Paycor.
The lack of company support or response to inquiries makes this company a risk for anyone looking to adopt a HRIS/ Payroll system. There is not enough access to the back end of the program to be able to fix problems yourself and due to the lack of support or a dedicated person to reach out to, problems go on for a really long time.

Paycor Support

I'd give a zero if that were an option. I currently have multiple requests for support that have not been answered in over a week. I have called their support phone line and usually hung up after waiting for 45 minutes for someone to answer. It is unlikely to get a quick response, EVER, even to urgent problems that effect taxes and benefit submission.

Relationship with Paycor, Inc

They were falling all over to be helpful with the sale and implementation.
ONce your system is up and running, you won't hear from anyone about upgrades or improvements, they will just appear on your dashboard and you figure it out yourself. Yes, there are guides available, but it would be nice to have notice to prepare. In the last 3 months support has been non-existent, don't expect to get an answer to an email or be able to reach someone on the telephone.
Unknown, system was implemented right before I started.
The vendor will need to do a major amount of reorganizing their end before it will be efficient to deal with the vendor. Right now, there is no way to reach anyone.
