Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

Paycor is used to advertise open positions on job boards and contact potential employees, and the candidates are reviewed for hiring. When hired, they are sent through the onboarding process and moved to the payroll system. Once set up as an employee, they can see the work schedule with their mobile device, requesting time off and paychecks on payday. Previously, this was all done with multiple software and or by use of paper forms.

Cons

  • Scheduling software needs ability handle multiple supervisors.
  • Paid time off is unable to calculate an accrual based on hours worked.
  • Use of Payactiv is not fully integrated as advertised.
  • The software has allowed us to become more paperless.
  • Paycor allowed us to catch up with competitors payroll and recruiting efficiency.
  • Multi-tiered pay scales were now easier to create and implement.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved 25-50 hours per month. - Paycor now handles all the Wage Garnishments, which saves us a large portion of time. Becoming paperless for hiring new employees is the icing on the cake.
The usability is a 10 for administrative; however, it does need lower no-admin users to commit to using it, which can be hard to obtain from the Dietary staff in our organization.
The sales team was not in your face and using cold pressure tactics to get your business. As was our case, the multiple parts of Paycor seemed to be easier to implement from scratch.

This is great software that will serve an organization well that has not used a one-stop solution for software needs. The software does require a lot of thought by the users to organize and set up each piece, and assistance is mostly available through tutorials.
