Solid. Solid. Solid
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity takes care of our HRM and Payroll. Time and Labor as well, but we don't utilize it for Benefits at the moment. We are also exploring how it can help us with it's Community feature general self-service capabilities.
Pros
- Clean, organized, logical UI.
- Customer support phoneline has been tremendous. Every call is thorough and helpful.
- Training materials. Paylocity has an endless base of internal knowledge on how to configure and utilize all sorts of elements within the system. Very organized to sort and review.
Cons
- I wish it was a little clearer on when/why/what I need to update information on both the Time&Labor side vs the HR&Payroll side. This could just be experience related but sometimes I feel like updating one side should automatically take care of all the above.
- There seems to be inconsistency with email notifications and how they link to Paylocity. Sometimes clicking on the email goes to an error page, or you'd expect one but there isn't.
- More consistent and organized processes. Being a small organization, much was on paper before we had Paylocity.
- Accuracy of employee information and records.
Naturally, as things are more organized, everything runs smoother and less errors are asking to be dealt with. Payroll and employee data has seen the greatest increase of workflow and structure.
This is still new to our organization, but it's allowed employee's convenient access to a space they did not have before. Connectedness of the work population only serves as a benefit.
Workday is a generally more comprehensive workhorse, but that's not to say Paylocity doesn't stack up. There is similar functionality and features across the board.
