Make Complex Payroll Super Easy
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use it for payroll and HR. It works especially well for hospitality because we have many departments and many wage codes and many job codes because our employees work in different departments doing different jobs at different payrates on any given day. We also use it for employees to sign up for benefits, which saves HR a lot of time.
Pros
- It allows us to track employees' time based on different departments, wage codes, job codes and payrates.
- It makes it very easy for employees to sign up for their benefits during open enrollment.
- Customer service is very responsive and helpful.
- Reporting is very robust.
Cons
- I have no suggestions for improvements. I love Paylocity as it is.
- Much less time spent on open enrollment
We don't use the automation feature.
Not much. We are using Community, but because it is designed for only hourly employees and their managers and is not designed for salaried managers who never log into Paylocity, salaried managers miss out on notifications posted on Community. Also, the folks who do log into Paylocity need to notice the little red dot to alert them to a new posting in Community. It would be nice to have an alert sent to employees' email addresses when there is a new posting on Community. The salaried managers, especially, do not have to time to log into Paylocity every day to check on posts, and they don't want to activate notifications because then their email box gets clogged with tons of notifications every day.
MUCH BETTER! ADP is horrible!
