Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I currently manage the data and history that is contained in Paylocity as well as running Payroll, processing and maintaining benefits, managing accruals, assisting with timesheets, onboarding and compensation. The move to Paylocity was the easiest implementation I have gone through. The team at Paylocity were proactive and extremely helpful. The payroll process in Paylocity is less cumbersome than several of the other products we have previously used. The entire system is very intuitive. The only downside is the limited ability to make adjustments in the system without the help of a service team member.
  • The seamless transition from time imports into payroll.
  • Benefits Open Enrollment layout for employees to make their elections.
  • Reporting as well as dashboards with the highlighted information.
  • Mobile app with more capabilities for the employees to manage their information from their app.
  • Customer Service could demonstrate a sense of urgency for emailed issues.
  • In the Benefit section, there are items that would be simple for the Employer to correct, but they system is set up to have corrections made by Paylocity. Example would be a correction in the premium amount.
  • It would be beneficial to be able to access all of the system capabilities within the company set instead of having to switch back and forth to the different companies to finish specific tasks.
  • Reduction in errors.
  • Better visibility to managers.
  • Better data driven decision making.
The visibility of the employee's history, pay history, performance history, and benefit enrollment history has benefited the company in various decision-making ways leading the company to be more proactive and strategic.
Our employees are starting to utilize this portion of the system more and in return more employees are being recognized which definitely boosts moral.
Paylocity is much more intuitive than the previous companies we have used. The ease of use has been more beneficial than I even anticipated.

The overall Benefits package makes the job of the Benefits Specialist much easier to track exceptions and elections. However, it would be more ideal if notifications were sent when an employee had made a new election or change.

The payroll processing is very intuitive and streamlined. The ease of importing time is one of the best I have seen.

The reporting system is very intuitive as well. You do not have to be a computer programmer to be able to put together a report with your desired outcome.
