Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use it as our HRIS and ATS. Our main issue is with the implementation and service. There was also a major issue with using it for benefits as one of the benefits consultants had incorrectly entered all information which held up the process.

Pros

  • Many features
  • Frequent product updates
  • Reporting module works well

Cons

  • The bugs that come up frequently
  • Account managers that are not always very informed on their own product
  • ATS could have more broad features
  • More time wasted trying to resolve issues caused by consultants
  • Efficient onboarding
  • Efficient reporting
The automation has been helpful in these aspects except for payroll. There have been expense issues that are still being worked on
We utilized it for a short time, but have moved to Teams as it is more accessible to users without having to log into an additional website to view updates

Our specific issues involving implementation have more to do with the implementation consultants than the product itself. We have had cases where we were misinformed about features which caused issues down the line for our employees
