Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity almost all day long for my organization. It helps reduce time and stress with recruiting, reviews, journals, filing, payroll, time and attendance, benefits, surveys, expense reimbursements and so much more! Prior to Paylocity, we had a lot more paper involved which included a lot more printing and scanning and that really just took up a lot of time on the HR side of things. Even managers love it for how easy it is to approve time cards, create journals and performance reviews. A lot of that was done on many sites which meant they had a lot of log ins!
  • Their support is always available when I need them.
  • Payroll is always a smooth and fast process
  • Its easy to create different templates for anything needed!
  • Sometimes it can take a while to hear back from service via email and they don't always really answer my question well. A lot of times they have to go back and get help from another individual which is fine but can take 1-7 days it seems like.
  • Random glitches in the system that don't seem to get fixed for months. I'll submit feedback and it seems like it would be an easy fix but takes quite a while
  • Team members are always complaining that they never receive their password resets.

In so many ways, I love when I can schedule posts to go out. Specifically when I was on maternity leave for 12 weeks, I had a post scheduled to go out every Friday when I was off from work. I was able to be proactive without having to work when I was off on leave.
My employees love the survey feature. I love that I can make it confidential or not and can send reminders with a click of a button to anyone. The employees also love the impression feature. They love to give feedback and also love to receive it and love that other employees can comment and see the comments too.

I think Paylocity offers a lot more that those companies don't. I love community feature and I know when I used Kronos they had nothing like that and anything that they did have, it was effective or easy to use. A lot of team members struggled to use that system.

At the end of the day, Paylocity always does what I need it to do. Its well-suited when I need to run payroll and check time cards.

Less appropriate when a staff of 60 is having issues clocking in to the system because they system is down for the whole day and then later I have to go in an make a lot of adjustments to their timecards.
