Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Full HRIS/Payroll suite.
  • Training Modules
  • Good training content
  • Time & Labor
  • Payroll processing errors - Service tells us its a "glitch" in the system and they are working on it. No resolutions in timely manner
  • Everything seems to be separate in the system and things need to be entered into separate modules. Multiple entries required.
  • In my opinion, implementation was too short and not nearly detailed enough. Learning for users for insufficient.
  • Custom calculations for OT, Shift differentials, CA requirements, etc seem to create a lot of problems in the system
  • At this point we have seen a negative ROI. IN my opinion, payroll is too cumbersome and fraught with errors and mistakes caused by the system glitches or setup errors during implementation.
Overall in my opinion negative impact. Not enough time spent on training or implementation.
Negligible. We have not had the time to utilize these aspects of the system fully as we are still trying to get people paid.
Selected Paylocity based on pricing and the belief that their product was as good if not better than the other offerings. Having used UKG, Workday and Ceridian in the past personally, I can safely say we were wrong in that assumption.

Paylocity does not seem well suited for larger, more complex pay runs. Custom calculations always seem to be a problem, we have been using the system since January '23 and still do not have smooth pay runs.
