Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use it as our HRIS - payroll, benefits, etc. It helps us keep almost everything in one space and is pretty intuitive so that we can pull some great reports for various things. Payroll is pretty seamless as well, and makes it easy for our managers to correct timecards as needed.
Pros
- Payroll processing, timecard corrections, etc.
- I like the nice reporting system where you can create your own reports that best fit your needs
- Employee directory with impressions feature
Cons
- I think the org chart feature could be improved where individuals are categorized by position. For example, VP then under be Directors, then Managers, etc.
- The ATS tool wasn't very intuitive for us, so we don't use Paylocity for that anymore. There could be more features within that.
- Better tracking for certificates which I believe they are working to implement
- Better data-drive decision-making
- Reduced errors on payroll items
I think it does well with automation for things such as payroll - adding holiday hours automatically, calculating auto-pay for salary employees, prorating pay changes, etc.
We use the impressions big time here. Our employees submit impressions and we use these to determine winners of high-value recognition programs.
