Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity as the full HRIS system. In recruiting from posting, jobs, scheduling interviews, and offering positions. New employee onboarding, benefits, payroll, offboarding, learning/LMS, wage data, community board, time and attendance.
Pros
- Payroll - The preparation and execution of bi-weekly payroll is seamless and easy.
- Benefits - annual benefit setup, EDI feeds, employee facing portal makes it easy for benefit enrollment and changes
- Reporting - large database of already created report, and easy to create a new custom report.
Cons
- Workflows and events - these are a bit confusing to set up, track and follow
- Employee profiles - would like to have some more customizable fields for employees to fill out in their profiles
- LMS - Sometimes custom trainings are hard to set up and function as needed.
- We have been able to implement a learning management system without having to add personnel to manage it
- The streamlined payroll has created extra time for the payroll clerk to do other duties.
- Recruiting has had more time to reviewing and interviewing instead of posting on job boards and sites.
We have been able to implement several new items, like the LMS system without having to add head count.
We are still working on increasing employment engagement. We recently introduced the community boards, but it is slow to take off.
