Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

As an HR Manager, I use Paylocity for payroll, benefits, surveys, timecards, etc. If we needed multiple systems for all of these things it would be an absolute nightmare.

Pros

  • handling employee taxes
  • easy PTO requests
  • Payroll is simple

Cons

  • knowledge base sometimes contains outdated info
  • although everything appears in the training, some trainings are paid and you have to click in to view whether they are considered "premium"
  • Would be nice if you could close pay periods from payroll module
  • reduced time
  • reduced errors
payroll is great, time tracking is solid
we don't use Paylocity for this

Payroll software is often marginal, and Paylocity is pretty decent. Customer service is responsive, even if they aren't always immediately helpful.
