Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I am an admin that runs payroll for our agency.

Pros

  • service issues
  • time punching
  • payroll

Cons

  • we are a non-profit that needs our time broken down into different grants. I still have to manually reenter the timesheets on a different spreadsheet to get the grant percentages.
  • payroll policy are off sometimes.
  • better data-driven decision-making
automation of time keeping, payroll, and time off has been a great help.
Helps us to keep up to date with recognition, surveys have helped to see where we are at as an agency and what we need to improve.
HCC didn't do our taxes right. Most of the staff had to pay in quite a bit. They were horrible to work with and didn't answer service questions promptly. Several calls/emails had to be completed before any action.

We are fairly new to electronic timekeeping and payroll. Paylocity has been great in that area. We still need our time broken down by grant but don't want to punch in/out for each grant area. It would be nice for an additional feature to allow percentages to go to several areas.
