Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity has been a huge advantage for our organization to optimize and centralize our HR processes and employee accessibility to information and learning. We use the HRIS for recruiting, performance management, survey management and engagement, mass communication, and onboarding. Our scope of use is very broad and we have enjoyed being able to utilize this platform in a variety of ways. While we do not use it to process compensation or benefits, it's been a huge convenience to locate information in one place.
Pros
- Recruiting- being able to quickly access and update statuses on candidates across multiple applications and roles
- Easily assign workflows and fillable forms for annual processes
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
Cons
- Paylocity is not structured to support 2 to 3 levels of management for various processes that require approval on multiple levels in our organization. For example with evaluations, we would love to see the option to assign a notification and approval to a 2nd level leader
- Accesses and updating leads and consolidating candidate profiles would be convenient to avoid overlap in tracking applicants, especially for future outreach.
- Paylocity's ease of navigating recruiting has made moving candidates through the process much simpler and efficient to regularly update and communicate with hiring teams
- We've utilized various statistics from time to fill, time to complete reviews, and average performance ratings to help inform our managers on our departmental and organizational data and alignment
- We've more effectively managed our recruiting timelines and costs by more effectively tracking our individual time to fill and utilizing tags to help build a stronger pipeline
Having a streamlined process for time tracking and payroll has provided much more flexibility for our managers and HR team to troubleshoot more efficiently while optimizing the bottlenecks of traditional payroll processing.
Community has been a huge engagement tool to offer higher visibility from the more unseen departments like HR or marketing. It's allowed us to have a broader platform to share personal stories, celebrate milestones, and connect with peers across our organization near and far. Our managers have loved using recognition as an additional way to shout out the successes of their team members.
