Paylocity Review
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I have been using this as a full comprehensive HR system, right from the onboarding process to recruitment to doing payroll and benefits workflows and documents as well as time cards for all our staff. Were using it for performance reviews, the whole gamut that our company did not have a comprehensive HRI system. So you were using Paylocity for that.
Pros
- It integrates a lot of systems that we had that were at different places, so we had to provide training to staff and now they just go to one portal and they're able to easily navigate from one to the other on the same place.
Cons
- We have been talking to Paylocity customer support. We have some issues with workflows and documents. Sometimes it's a little difficult to navigate. We have issues with putting in the documents. And then recently we're struggling with scheduler plus something that the YMC is really used for scheduling for our aquatic staff shifts, requesting shifts, getting off shifts and we're struggling with that. And I know Paylocity is saying that it's going to take two to three years to work on that and we're working to make the best use of it and we're struggling with that, but we're hopeful that things will resolve and get better and I know that there are otherwise that they are struggling with that, but they use it differently and we have some other struggles so we're trying to navigate around it.
- It's definitely reduced cost is one of those better data driven decisions has been there. It gives out data faster. You can make your own dashboards to your needs, you can create reports. Paylocity customer service has been very good at helping us create those reports. My customer service rep has been incredible. He will send me screenshots and he will guide me through what I'm looking for and it's really helped me reduce my work, what I'm looking for.
They have definitely helped me. The AI integration in Paylocity has really helped us. It's reduced a lot of admin time that my staff spends in the sample questions that they have, especially in the survey modules and the q and a questions that they have that we ask candidates that they come in have been incredibly helpful to me.
So that's something we are seeking into enhancing this year. In year three with Paylocity, we haven't touched it as much. We do share accolades on community, but our focus and our goal is to go into the employee engagement part. In year three, we did buy everything from Paylocity, but we haven't started using everything. So we were slow and steady into it and that's the goal to do it in year three.
