Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity allows me to easily navigate my HR documents, see my weekly paycheck breakdown and submit requests for time off. I've used different management tools like this across different companies and Paylocity has definitely been one of my favorites. It's an easy to navigate platform that helps me find the information I need when I need it.

Pros

  • Allows you to easily submit time off and to see a record of past and pending scheduled vacation/time off dates.
  • Give a clear and easy-to-understand paycheck breakdown along with charts to show you your pay YTD.
  • Provides a clear tracking of the HR documents I would need to review and have approved.

Cons

  • I wish there were more integration with my 401K platform so I could see it all managed in one place.
  • Paylocity has helped me not spend time having to search for documents or having to reach out to staff for assistance in finding what I need.
  • Paylocity helps me keep track of vacation day requests so I can know what I have taken off and what's available for the rest of the year.
Paylocity has allowed our team to be more efficient in keeping track of the information we would need sporadically for important events. It's easy to find what you need quickly, which makes it a really good tool, and it presents a clear and visual breakdown so you can grab the numbers that are relevant to your project instantly.
Our team has used some of the engagement tools like surveys before which have been an effective way to get insight from the whole company at scale. Other than surveys, we haven't explored the other engagement tools yet in the platform which is something I think we may end up doing before the end of the year.
Paylocity has an easy-to-understand user interface and categorizes what you need in a way where it easy to find documents, resources, and options about payment. I can't complain at all about the usability of the tool; whether on desktop or mobile, it has been a wonderful app for quick access when you need it the most.
Rippling is another tool that I think delivers on what you need it for. I would say both tools work wonderfully, but I am used to Paylocity's set up and have grown to prefer it more. I can't definitively say one is better than the other, but I can say that Paylocity delivers.

Paylocity is well-suited for visibility for employees who want to see how their pay is structured and for connecting with managers/HR staff to make amendments to their schedule, time off, etc. I can't think of any places in particular that Paylocity doesn't deliver as a platform. It's easy to navigate and perfect for employees.
