Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I used Paylocity in my previous role for paycheck and employee management. We tracked and published employee reviews, pay, time and bonuses. We also used Paylocity for personal finance management and time tracking.

Pros

  • Easy to access paychecks
  • Surveys and employee reviews
  • Quick to access tax documents

Cons

  • Better tab organization for managers to find personal info vs. their employees
  • Clearer PTO request section and tracking
  • More review features
  • Better workflow and approval visibility
  • Improved time management for HR in terms of easy to access payroll information and time off benefits
  • Data driven decision making for managers
They have helped in managing employees and personal payroll and benefit tracking. Having all features housed in one place drastically decreases time and the automation is helpful for tracking workflows and progress.
Paylocity has made for a more seamless employee experience by creating an autonomous system where employees can self-service and access personal information, requests, reviews, and so forth.

Paylocity is well suited for managers and leaders who are overseeing a team of employees and are needing to track hours, pay, bonuses and submit or request reviews. Paylocity is less appropriate for tasks such as internal company reviews or surveys.
