Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is used to produce payrolls twice a month. Th process produces a number of very helpful payroll reports. Employees also have a unique personal account where they can track their payroll information, pay stubs, as well as paid time off. Time in and out of the office can also be recorded.

Pros

  • Quickly processes the payroll
  • Timely deposits funds into employee accounts
  • Helps users with issues if they arise

Cons

  • We were really worried about the new payroll entry system. We were used to a very simple and straightforward system. We tried it once before it went live but went back to our old method. Once it went live, it was surprisingly easy to use. We were very happy with that. Simplicity is key!
  • Paylocity has reduced the time and effort it takes to process our twice monthly payrolls.
  • By providing employee portals, time spent responding related to payroll processing and recordkeeping questions is minimal.
  • Technical reports and government reports produced and processed by Paylocity reduce time that our employees would spend on those tasks and processes.
Paylocity automation of payroll, scheduling, and time tracking has substantially reduced time that our company management would need to spend on those tasks.
Our experience has been very good with Paylocity's usability.

Paylocity is a well-suited platform from which to schedule employee payrolls. The process produces pay statements and key payroll reports. Paylocity also handles required government reporting, payroll taxes and W-2 preparation. We also use employee portals so that each employee can look up their pertinent payroll and company information. We also have very good experience with contacting customer support.
