Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We currently use Paylocity for not only payroll, but also for onboarding, recruiting, and performance reviews too. The issue of having everything on different platforms can get confusing. There are many different passwords, usernames, and websites you have to remember. Paylocity makes that easy by combining it all into one platform. It is so user friendly. If you have any questions about something, they are really quick to respond and help.
Pros

- Quickly responds to tickets you open if you cannot find your answer
Cons
- Sometimes the names on HR/payroll are not always in alphabetical order and I have to search to find an employee.
- make it easier to change notification settings
- create our own payroll reports so it shows exactly what we are looking for.
- Reduced cost by having a lot of services under one platform.
- Great payroll processing. Once you understand it, it shaves a lot of time off manually figuring out the numbers.
- Paylocity cannot catch all our errors, but with the ease of reviewing payroll, it helps me to catch anything I may have entered incorrectly.
Automated payroll has saved us so much time versus manually doing payroll. It takes into account all the hours, pay rates, bonuses, deductions, etc., and can easily calculate the employee's check in seconds. You can easily view the check before you continue to make sure it is all done correctly. We have been able to work more on our recruiting and onboarding now that payroll automation has saved us so much time.
One specific example of how Paylocity has impacted our employee engagement is with surveys. Sometimes employees may be too shy or nervous to say something that is negative in person to the "boss's" face. When we sent out anonymous surveys about the different things that were happening, we were able to get honest feedback from employees that we might not have gotten without these surveys from Paylocity.
Paylocity has a very similar layout to ADP Workforce Now. The support staff for Paylocity is significantly better, friendlier, and happier. The way Paylocity runs is much smoother than ADP Workforce Now. It is much easier to find answers to questions you may have on Paylocity compared to ADP Workforce Now.
