Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Our company uses Paylocity for Payroll, Employee Records, and Timekeeping. Paylocity has helped us by giving us one unified place to keep track of employees. The time keeping has made it much easier than our old paper method of tracking employees time, having the pay roll system import the time and then send us the paper checks next day has saved so much time. We no longer have to manually enter times and manually print checks and worry about the printer jamming over and over. Now having digital copies of employee records has also made it much easier to look up past and present employees without having to get their physical files.

The time that we take to process a payroll cycle has gone down significantly allowing for less people to handle more locations. We went from a three person team struggling to keep up to a team of two working on payroll while another has time to onboard and accomplish other tasks. There has been times where we have only one day to process a payroll and before this would have been impossible or meant working 6-8 hours of overtime. Now this can be accomplished in an 8 hour day.
Our company has not made a lot of use of these tools but it has been useful during open enrollment to make sure that everyone is aware of the deadline to enroll. Some employees have used the system and enjoyed it but it is not something that we have actively invested much time in at this point.
Paylocity has a lot of simple to use and understand systems on the surface level, but if you learn more and look deeper you can certainly get more out of the system. Even at surface level the platform will save you time and energy but as you become more advanced you will start to learn quicker ways to accomplish or automate things.
Paylocity is a much more sleek and intuitive design. I felt the layout to ADP was not as interesting or well laid out when I used it. This was also several years ago when I had last used the ADP system.

Paylocity makes record keeping and payroll so simple. The times are able to be imported from time keeping saving tons of time and frustration. Going from manual entries to a more automated system has saved so much time. Whether a company is small or large or there are multiple companies that you take care of the system will work for you.
