Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

deploying printers and changes to printers to many computers for multiple clients. It saves a lot of time rather than manually deploying printers to new computers or when changing printer settings and having to deploy to every computer individually. Our clients are about 20-30 users. Theres about 3 printers in each location.
  • printer deployment
  • deploying changes to print queues
  • printer managment
  • billing in AUD
  • tracking print jobs
  • printer deployment
  • update printer queues
  • reduces the time take to deploy new printers.
based on what feedback i get from the techs, it is easy to configure and deploy. Compared to other solutions that have been tried in the past, this is easier.
Users still dont use the tool. It still a service desk call, but it does make the call faster to resolve. We never had any print server, so as far as attack surface reduction goes, there isnt any.
Printix and universal print, not options in the drop down, but have tried them. Universal print really missed the mark with billing per print job and being way to expensive. Printix was just terrible to manage.

we run an AYCE MSP, so every bit of time saved is a good thing. PrinterLogic allows us to save a lot of time for clients that like to move around, change printers or have users that move between sites frequently. The customers that dont move around much, its useful for inital deployment of a printer, but then after that, it doesnt make sense to keep using PL for them as we keep paying monthly for the printer queue but really its not doing anything.
