Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used across the boards in my company. We use it from submittals to close-out. It is great at keeping everything organized. Simple photo functions help keep track of photos. The observations tool is a great way to track any items that may fall short of quality needs and it allows you to send any items to a particular trade to fix.

Pros

Submittal organization
Meeting minutes is an easy way to take notes during the meeting and have them stored and viewable as past minutes when printed out.

Cons

Photo organization, I would like to be able to create sub-folders for photos
Submittal printing, I need to attach a link of information to each submittal which does not print when printing submittals. This in turn makes me want to save each submittal on my computer so that I can print the ENTIRE submittal with one print not just the cover page.

Likelihood to Recommend

A scenario where Procore is appropriate is when you are in the field and need to look at the drawings. This can be easily pulled up on a cell phone of tablet. A scenario where Procore is not appropriate is in the shower as you can damage the device you are using to access the software.
