Overall Satisfaction with Procore
On a daily basis, Procore is used for document management, from submittals to drawings. For my field employees to have access to all of the same information as the office is invaluable. Prior [to this], we constantly fought to save items on a cloud based folder and keep current drawings in the proper person's hands, now this is manged by a GM or CM and all trades are on the same page.
- Folder selections
- Uploading by drag and drop
- Using the web based application is much friendlier than the tablet version.
- Back button or recent button would be beneficial.
- It is not easy to measure the time savings, but I can see the travel time between print tables and trailers decreasing dramatically on my projects. For the foreman to be able to touch a few buttons on their phone or tablet and find the most recent drawing or submittal for reference is wonderful.
- Being able to "star" or save common use drawings in your application would be beneficial. This way you can reference the drawings you use constantly in place of thumbing through all drawings to reach the one you need.
Drawing access, interaction and mark-up is the largest benefit from Procore. I have used many document management tools in construction, but nothing handles drawings like Procore.
