Overall Satisfaction with Procore

The hardest thing is just getting people to buy in. Once you do, it goes well.
I dont totally understand the question. As previously referenced, the scheduling integration is very poor. That is one of my only experiences with integrating with other software platforms.
I currrently use for Procore for submittal, transmittal and RFI processing with the owner.

We also utilize for site production tracking through use of daily logs / reports and photographs.

I utilize Procore for all owner billings via AIA protocall.

I use it on my desktop and phone app.

Procore is used on a daily basis.
  • RFI and submittal processing are stong
  • Billing / Prime contract and change order management are stong
  • Photographs and tracking are stong
  • Procore was recently unable to meet an owner specification for me as the submittal management platform to which I had to source an Oracle product.
  • The email management can be cumbersome. While I do like the notifications, when you have too many, they become white noise.
  • The schedule implementation and management through Procore is terrible. I'll never use. I have tried doing it directly and by integrating MS project. Unfortunately it just does not work and is very difficult to manage when utilized.
I have benefited, basically from the exact description above. I am able to be in direct contact and tracking of multiple job sites in multiple locations at all times from my office. When I am on the road, I regularly access the phone app and remain connected, not only to the office, but remain in contact with other job sites that I am not currently on.

Everything is tracked in real time so the owner experiences the same convenience and tracking.
  • I think the organizations is beneficial and helps us streamline multiple projects at one time.
  • The negative impact was the previously referenced E-platform where Procore could not qualify them against a spec of which I had to absorb the cost of Submittal exchange and my cost of procore. On these jobs, I also need to doubly administrate them and utilize PROCORE for internal tracking and distribution with subs, while corresponding with the owner on a separate platform - so I lose time and direct cost as well.
  • Oracle submittal exchage, oracle P6 and Quantum
I like procore. It provides a more turn key platform than others. HAving the photos / billings/ RFI and everything all in one place works well for me. I have seen very few competitors with as much reach. Some have a more pointed capability and do some of them a little bit better than procore, but dont have as many capabilities.
The key to use is buy-in by all parties, which is challenging to get outside organization members to buy into some time. But everyone buys in, it is a good place to have everything stored. Sometimes it can require full time monitoring and data management to be accurate. So that can be cumbersome. Some final determinations on items are lacking and require pigeon holed responses.
