Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We have implemented Procore throughout almost our whole organization. We are using Procore for our estimating/ bidding process, project management, field document management and we are using ERP integrations with our accounting department. Procore addresses our need to share up to date documents with the field, and saves some time for accounting to not enter data manually.
  • Great access to documents in the field.
  • Commitments are hard to use. There is no need to have the SOV on a separate page. It is often missed and a contract may be sent out with no price, or you have to go back and enter it later which DOES NOT save any time. There also needs to be a drop down option for billing/shipping address. It is a huge waste of time to re-enter the billing info on each new job. It would be nice for commitments to send to ERP as soon as they come back approved via DocuSign
  • The DocuSign integration needs to be fixed. Procore adds two fields onto each envelope that are useless for us and we need to remember to delete them every time we send an envelope. Again, time-consuming and something that often gets missed and causes more lost time/rework.
  • ERP integration often has error messages for no reason and are unfix-able on our end.
  • This whole program is very hard for an older generation to use. A lot of things could be simplified so that they (and everyone else) doesn't have to remember so many steps to complete one small task.
Procore is an okay program to use as a subcontractor working for a GC. It is convenient to view all the most up to date drawings on the mobile app and to write RFI's quickly from the app.
  • Decreased efficiency due to the huge learning curve.
  • Gain visibility into projects
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Track cost impacts from the field
  • Streamline financial reporting
  • Improve forecast accuracy
The drawing, spec, RFI and submittal tool help keep the field up to date. Would really be helpful if our side of Procore could be integrated into the GC's Procore of architects' to eliminate double processing paperwork.
I think this program is fine to figure out for millennials and people who grew up using a computer for everything, BUT the older generation does not have that same intuitive thinking about programs and how they work. Things could be a lot simpler for them to understand and use.
Procore is only useful to a large GC who manages a lot of subs and can make use of those tools. It is not a scale-able program, and if you are a small company then a lot of tools have too many options and no way to turn those things off.
