Procore Review
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is being used by our entire new construction department, all project managers, estimators and field leaders are using the program. Procore has helped us with the dissemination of information throughout our organization in real-time. Procore also helps us track changes on projects using the drawings and mark up tools available.
Pros
- File sharing.
- Communication.
- Reminders for overdue submittals and RFI's.
Cons
- Downloading forms is an arduous task.
- Time saver!
- Increased communication of information between workers and peers.
I have used PlanGrid, and their products are very similar. I do think that Procore is more user-friendly and has a whole lot more options than when working with PlanGrid. One of the best parts of Procore is that companies you work with don't need to have a Procore account to access your projects in Procore - they instead are part of your account.
- Gain visibility into projects
- Ensure information is accessible and up to date
- Document job site conditions
- Report on incidents and inspections
- Identify job site risks
I have a project right now where the owner, general contractor, and our company all use Procore for information sharing. Sometimes it can get convoluted and hard to keep up with when 3 separate companies have their own project set up in Procore but it has worked out for us.
