Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are a General Contractor and most of our projects are multifamily complexes. Built from the ground up as well as remodels. One thing that Procore assists with is in keeping our subcontractors working at a steady pace. The subcontractors have to complete a Daily Log Report every day they are on site. They have to list everything that they completed that day and in doing this it is a constant reminder of how close they are to reaching their deadlines.
- Procore keeps project documents organized, in one place. I have worked for General Contractors that have and have not used Procore. When I worked for the General Contractors that did not use Procore, the close-out process took twice as long because I had to track down some of the documents.
- Procore connects our administration team at our main office with our field teams at the projects. [Whenever] someone updates something in Procore - everyone with permission has access to the most current version of a document.
- Procore can assign permission levels to end-users. This is very important because certain documents are confidential and should not be accessed by our subcontractors. In addition, it controls who is able to edit something in Procore and this is invaluable. I had an experience in the past when a team member (at a different company) took it upon themselves to update a project document when they didn't know what they were doing. The correct information was lost and there was not a [backup] copy because it was a document on the company server.
- Procore could improve the format of the Photos section. It is really annoying that you can create a folder and then place other folders in it. All folders remain separate and that leaves it really messy and unorganized.
- The Meeting Minutes in Procore need an update. When you create a new meeting from a previous meeting, I wish it would place the previous meeting minutes in the area for the New Official Documented Meeting Minutes because a lot of the time an entry is used for several weeks. The end-user could delete what they don't want in the new minutes.
- Procore has definitely saved us time. If we did not have a centralized place where we could all access the project documents [immediately,] the field crew would have to take time away from [the] building and drive to the main office to access the documents.
- Procore has increased the accuracy of the project documents. There is usually more than one person with permission for each topic available. If someone enters incorrect information, most of the time someone else will catch the mistake and correct it.
For some of our projects, we use Timberline with Procore. I don't use that integration myself, but our accounting department says that it saves them a lot of time and in addition, they can use it from anywhere.
Procore makes completing Daily Logs a lot quicker [than] writing them by hand on a form. You can't utilize drop-down menus when you physically fill out a form, so the amount of paperwork increases as well. The time saved by having the Daily Logs automated really adds up by the end of a project.

I do not believe we purchased premium support. I've used customer support in Procore several times over the past seven years and have had great results with their basic support.
Yes - About six years ago I called Procore regarding a glitch I was experiencing. It just so happens that the bug was system-wide and they were already working on a solution. The problem was solved, a short time after I had contacted them.
I called Procore a couple of years ago to ask if it was possible to do something specific within the "Photos" section. The agent told me that it was not possible, but that he would mention if to the software team as a suggestion. The next day someone in the software department contacted me to ask questions about my request. Procore really strives to keep all of [its] end-users happy with the experience.
