Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace

Projectplace is being used by the IT department for project management through all the PDLC. It gives a clear view of current and upcoming work.
  • The Kanban board functionality is especially good, it allows us to break all the items and assign them for execution. Tracking each piece is easy as they can be attached to an activity in the plan.
  • Communications. Tagging people into almost any item in the platform (activity, card, general comment, portfolios, etc.) is particularly good to foster communications.
  • Workplan. The workplan is very visual and interactive, you can easily export and share the information with your stakeholders.
  • Portfolios. Very basic functionality of grouping projects with some common KPIs, not ideal for planning.
  • Time reporting. This module should be re created as the current UI is not working properly.
  • Workload. Nice interface but not really a good provide of information for decision taking.
  • This platform has a great value compared with other tools that may be more expensive.
Projectplace is oriented to foster communication within the projects which is a key (if not the most important) feature of a PPM tool.
A great scenario is when your organization is project oriented and the project teams are big. [It's] also good for BAU processes with the use of the Kanban Board.
