Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

We are using Prophix for consolidated management reporting across all of our business units. It has helped us move from an extremely manual Excel based process to a much more automated monthly reporting process. The system is also helping individual business units with their reporting needs.
  • Combining data into meaningful reports
  • Scheduling of reports to auto-generate and send PDF's to the users.
  • Consolidate financials
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • It can be a little difficult to learn and slightly confusing when creating reports.
  • New product releases can sometimes use additional testing before being released.
  • Faster and more accurate monthly reporting.
  • Easier to report across business units.
We have used it to integrate with our Excel models for much faster and more accurate budgeting and forecasting. The system once fully implemented has saved us a tremendous amount of time.

We worked with a consulting firm in our selection process and based on our company size and budget Prophix was the best fit.
It has worked well for our organization but has been adopted at a slower pace than we originally envisioned. The Accounting staff using the system needs to have a good understanding of report writing to get the full benefits of using the product.
