Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

Prophix is being used by the finance department. It is used for budgeting, monthly financial statements, analyses and reporting as needed throughout the organization.
  • Organizes data quickly
  • Accurately displays data
  • Makes data manageable
  • Not all areas of our GL can be imported
  • Naming of the data sets is hard to grasp
  • Annual budgeting is made easier
  • Financial statement disbursement is faster
  • Returns on Ad-Hoc information is quick
Rather than multiple tabs and spreadsheets, prophix has helped us consolidate our information. We are able to only send relevant information to the directors, which is easily accomplished. Dashboards can be updated for quick access to specific users.

Prophix is clean, it's nice to see data with clear fonts, brightly colored. Gone are the days of ledger paper.
Prophix makes data manageable. The drill across feature is great for seeing detailed transactions quickly. Dashboards make files easily accessible rather than combing through files of where you think it might be.

Growing with Prophix

Change is good. It's hard to move beyond our comfort zone and explore new territory. Prophix is user friendly, and honestly can be frustrating at times to find files or manipulate data. The more you use it, the more comfortable you become.
Off hand none come to mind, we use it for payroll reporting, hourly employee inquiries, employee management, and the list goes on.

Using Prophix

We use line item details during budget. It's a great resource to look back and remember what was budgeted for.
We use report binders to distribute reports on a monthly basis to senior management.
25 - The CFO, Program Directors, and Program Accountants all have opportunity to receive and review information in Prophix.
We utilize Prophix Support as needed.

Integrating Prophix

Just some inconveniences when importing, having to upload a new file ever time. When we previously used data connectors we could just save the new data and it would automatically upload. Extra steps to be taken seem to waste some time.

I find report building difficult, but they do offer many training course through prophix academy and also a support system.

Prophix Reliability

We use this software for budgeting, leases, and volume reports.
I've had no issues with Prophix's availablity.
We had some issues with reports loading slowly, but were able to work through with prophix.

I was having an issue with report building and was able to reach out to Prophix for support/help and they were able to walk me through the issue I was having.
Prophix support is readily available and a solution provided timely.

Prophix Training

We used our system and created a test cube to work with our own data. We ran through the different functions of Prophix and covered alot of material. We did two sessions a week, with homework tasks assigned. We were able to ask questions and cover any questions during the followup sessions.

Upgrading Prophix

Yes - We upgraded to the cloud, and were able to run both systems simultaneously.
