Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
We use Prophix for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The system has allowed us to move off spreadsheets and has increased the overall efficiency of the reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes. It has also allowed us to give visibility to more users than ever in a faster manner, so they are making more data-driven decisions.
- End User experience and ease of use.

- Personnel Budgeting & Management.
- Ease of ad-hoc analysis.
- Drilling across to source data.
- Multiple platforms between FP&A, financial consolidations.
- Ease of connectivity to Power BI.
- More bundled packages with add-on capabilities and not having those based on a number of transactions.
- Completely removed all spreadsheets for the budgeting process (which used to be around 100).
- We went from having around 15 people responsible for P&L management to over 120 users who are actively in the system making data-driven decisions.
- We never had long-term planning at a more detailed level due to the complexities of Excel, and now we have 15-year long-term planning goals at a very detailed level.
We have moved away from Excel for budgeting/forecasting in general. We went from having around 100 Excel-based budgeting files/iterations of files during the process to everything being completed within the system.

Very simple end-user experience, easy to implement, ability to link to and from Microsoft D365.
