Overall Satisfaction with Prophix

We use Prophix to assist in our monthly financial reporting and forecasting as well as our annual budgeting process. Prophix is our go to place for pulling any financial and statistical data for ad hoc requests. The software is very user-friendly and easy to pick up, even for less tech savvy users. Working with customer support to onboard new users and set up new cubes has been a breeze and everyone is very friendly. The cloud-based solution allows me to get my data on the fly - even when I am traveling. The dashboarding feature has been effective for executive landing pages and KPI reporting. Overall, Prophix gives me everything I need all in one place.

We still heavily use Excel for forecasting and budgeting. We are hoping to utilize more of the Prophix software for this in the future but have not been able to fully replace all of our complex spread and financial modeling in Excel for forecasting. Budgeting has been more of a success story but I still find us using Excel for the majority of it.
Prophix is extremely user friendly, and the web interface is very easy to use. Learning how to set up processes to import data and run data through models is pretty intuitive and the Prophix team is very helpful in guiding users to set up cubes and other processes. I like the automation of report binders and how easy it is to see where things are at in the task log.
Prophix is the first and only financial software we have used of its kind. Previously everything was Excel based and worked on manually. This is where Prophix has been able to help us as a business advance ourselves in the modern world of reporting allowing us to do more with less.

Prophix is very well suited in loading in our monthly financial data from our general ledger and turning it into numerous reports with a click of a button. Once Prophix is loaded it is very easy to get updated reported all at once and not needing to run a query 100 times. The easy-to-use software allows for cross training and delegation of roles. Reports can be built on the fly with great accuracy.
