Overall Satisfaction with Pure Storage FlashArray

From all supports I've contacted, Pure Storage is clearly the best. They are qualified, test before doing any kind of maintenance and are proactive. You don't have to call them, they will call you. In fact, you don't have to check your arrays, they'll do it for you and reach you in case of a failure or bad performances.
We use FlashArray's volumes to host virtual machines. Pure Storage is being used by the IT Department.
  • Simplicity to administer.
  • Data reduction.
  • Qualified support.
  • The pricing can be difficult to explain to the financial teams.
  • With the data reduction, you can easily go up to 5 to 1.
Easier to configure.
Support is way better than the other ones.
Perfomances are mind-blowing
  • We are using Pure Storage to store VHDX, our virtual machines boot in less than 3 seconds.
Pure Storage is well suited if you don't want to deal with storage engineer's problems. It is easy to deploy and to maintain. You should use Pure Storage if you know that the data you are going to use is compressible (don't use this array to store images for example).
